![]() About the ArtistWelcome to my site! I've been sculpting infant dolls since approximately 2002, but I am currently on hiatus from sculpting full-size dolls. I have been a doll collector since I was a teenager and have been doing needlework since age 8. I also collect dollhouse miniatures and I began sculpting people for my scenes in approximately 1999-2000. In 2001, I began to collect modern baby dolls, and decided to try my hand at sculpting them. I am also a veterinarian in a small animal practice, which I enjoy very much. All of my sculptures are hand-sculpted without the aid of molds from Prosculpt polymer clay. I create both miniature and full-sized infant sculptures, and many of the smaller sculptures are in 1/12 (dollhouse) scale. I work from pictures of real infants. I also enjoy sewing and embroidery, as well as crochet. As time permits, my sculptures are dressed in clothing designed and sewn by me. I enjoy sewing for little girl dolls (Kish, Plusczok), as well, and my work can be seen in the "Riley's Room" gallery as well as many of the other galleries to the left under "Other Galleries." I occasionally sell some of my sewing, so if you're interested in something, just ask. You can see my most current work by clicking on "Current Sculptures" or by checking out my blog at Elizabeth's Whimsies. My sold and unavailable sculptures are under "Past Work." As I'm also a full-time veterinarian, I have limited time to sculpt and only sculpt because I enjoy it, so it takes a long time for me to complete a piece. Keep an eye on this site to see what I'm currently working on!. Important AnnouncementsALL PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHTED and may not be used without my permission.
Email me to be added to my list to be informed of new releases and available sculptures.
